Hello,
It has come to our attention that the server on IP address XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX is hosting many Iranian domains on it. This license has been removed in our system as a result.
United States sanctions laws prevent us from knowingly doing business with anyone on the US Sanctions list: Sanctions Programs and Country Information Because Iran is included in this list, we are unable to provide licensing for our software to any server or person in Iran or identifying as Iranian. In this case, the server was being used to host Iranian domains/sites, which is not allowed.
While cPanel does oppose any part of law that limits open communication through the internet, we must follow these laws regardless. If you have any questions regarding this or if you require any additional information, please feel free to let me know. Thanks in advance.
