Thank you for being a WHMCS customer. As you know, many countries prohibit businesses from engaging in commercial transactions with Iran. Because of WHMCS’ operations in the United States, we believe we may be subject to U.S. export restrictions on Iran. To ensure strict compliance with U.S. laws, I regret to inform you that your WHMCS license will be terminated on January 22nd, 2016.
WHMCS understands that this creates a hardship for you. Unfortunately, we do not believe that U.S. law provides us with an alternative. To help you understand our position, below are a couple of links to information about U.S. export controls.
