Job Offer : Level I-III Support Technician
We are currently looking for a Linux System Administrator to staff our help desk.
Position: Technical Support Representative Level I-III
Experience: 2+ years
Job Description:
- Providing technical support for Level I-III issues via help desk ticket system and Live Chat.
- Monitoring servers for stability and taking proactive and reactive measures to correct and prevent issues.
- Installing, Configuring, and maintaining services such as Apache, MySQL, and Exim (standard cPanel services)
- Must be able to resolve all client issues including Level-3 issues.
- Must be familiar with all aspects of cPanel servers.
- MUST watch for server outage alerts and respond immediately.
- Be available via IM, to communicate with staff, during working hours (Webcam/Headphones Must be Available).
- Be on time every day when shift starts.
- Assisting clients in transferring accounts to our servers.
Required Skills:
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English language.
* Ability to work well with a team and follow instructions from senior colleagues.
* Outstanding customer service skills and have customer service experience.
* Dependable to be at work during assigned shifts and to complete work as expected.
* Excellent troubleshooting skills
* Advanced knowledge of cPanel/WHM control panel.
* Advanced knowledge of the Linux operating system.
* Advanced knowledge of Apache and MySQL.
* Advanced knowledge of Linux security and common server hardening tools/methods.
* Knowledge of OpenVZ and Xen virtualization technologies.
* Performance optimization of Linux OS, Apache and MySQL.
* Shell scripting.
* Understanding of PHP and HTML.
* Basic knowledge of WHMCS.
* Flexible schedule.
* Ability to multi-task.
